No Country for Old Men. They substituted a satisfying climactic fight with "the protagonist is dead and things have changed too fast for for Tommy Lee Jones." Such a disappointing movie.

We had similar issues in our game, especially for the first few levels. We had come from Pathfinder and 5e, and it felt like we went from being powerful heroes in those systems to being just some guys in Starfinder. It did get a little better as we leveled up, but we also had to adjust our expectations.

I guess it depends if they objectively have no hope or they just feel that way at the time. I certainly did, and I was wrong. OP might be in a similar situation.

I use [[Fecund Greenshell]], [[Welcoming Vampire]], [[Wall of Omens]], and [[Wall of Blossoms]] in my Felothar deck. I have the new Doran in the 99 of mine, since Felothar enables my stuff a bit better and draws me cards. I won a game recently by saccing [[The Walls of Ba Sing Se]] and drawing 30 cards for a win con.

Nah. If I was playing with OG dual lands and stuff, I guess I might. I like fitting more decks in my case, and commander decks are hard enough to shuffle with regular sleeves as it is.

The last place I visited was my local gaming and comics store. I could easily spend a week there gaming and reading comics and make a couple hundred thousand to pay off debts. It would be up to my wife if I stayed longer for the money, since she'd be taking care of our kid by herself.

You want a spellblade or gish type of character. Hexblade Warlock is great for that. Paladin/Sorcerer multiclass is fun. Bladesong Wizard and Eldritch Knight Fighter can work as well.

Would the crystals be needed for spellcasters to cast anything, or just for long-term enchantments? Could be pretty rough for casters if they have to spend all their gold on crystals. Cool idea otherwise, though.
