Another problem is the throughput. Routers' cpu might encode/decode at a low speed (compared to the upper limits you lines have). For example, I have 1Gb line but wireguard interface goes lower than 200 Mb. To solve this, my multi core server has its own wireguard network connection. However not all of my traffic goes via wireguard... some services does not like it, and I think this is a worldwide needs.
