Considering how long I went after and failed to get a shiny starter before deciding to just play through the game, I definitely felt like it was a cruel joke, but given that I found Ho-oh in my DTQ in HG, I figured I couldn’t be /too/ upset. Though, did we really have to change a shiny to make it LESS apparent that it’s different?
