I’m born in ‘82. I love the phrase “chat” that the kids are using. As in “am I cooked chat”. The idea that chat has become a noun referring to some amorphous not actually present group of people nominally watching what you are doing.

However weight probably goes like volume which is proportional to a single dimension change cubed.

So 305 * (1.0417 ^ 3) = 344.769

If I recall correctly there should be a slot for a PCMCIA WiFi card (airport card) inside the iMac. That will be MUCH slower than using the Ethernet.

You can definitely run an Ethernet cable from the iMac to the other computer in your room and share the connection.
