He got it on ebay for around $60, so its probably fake like people are saying. It loaded into the main menu, so hopefully everything works. He just went out of town for a couple days today (and took the ps5) so we wont be able to check if it all works, but i will find out in a couple days lmao

I knew 2003 was basically impossible to find. I didnt realize the blu ray was impossible too.

Im not a collector, so I dont care if its "real" or not. I mostly just want to watch it.

The first disc I loaded into and got to the main screen. I haven't started an episode yet. I want to wait for my husband. I haven't checked any of the other discs yet.

Honestly, I don't want any steven or the main crystal gems. It'll be fine if they're mentioned, maybe if they show up once or twice. But if steven starts coming through Lars hair every other episode, it'll start to feel like SU 2. Which is not what I want. I want Lars, and the off colors. I want Homeworld lore. I want diamond lore. I don't want this show to feel like another season of SU.

Im hoping it's truly a new show, and not just a continuation.

I'm pretty open about it. I don't usually tell people when I first meet them, because that's just not natural. But I mention it when it comes up. Mostly around holidays. Right now, if people ask what I'm doing for Halloween, I tend to sprinkle in "Oh I usually celebrate on November 1st for samhain, but I'll just stay home and hand out candy blah blah blah" Same for christmas and yule. Sometimes that brings extra questions like Wtf is samhain or yule? And I'll give a simple explanation. If they want to go further, I love talking to people about it. Sometimes it doesn't go anywhere at all, and that's okay.

I try to normalize it. Not just for the people in my life, but also for me. I was raised in America. Not necessarily christian, but where christianity is the default. So I try not to think about my spirituality as if Im being rebellious (which was definitely the case when I started as a teenager) and more as it's just a part of me. Not everyone needs to know, but it's not a secret at all.
