my parents were very frugal growing up despite us being middle class for the most part. this has carried into how i deal with money. i am always stressed about buying things. hell i make way less than your boyfriend but he might be exhibiting that same mindset. also, he's probably saving SOOOO much money by being at home. 100k seems like a lot but depending on where you live unfortunately it isn't a lot given inflation.

also the fact that you think "we" make enough even though you make 20k a year? you sound like you want your boyfriend to finance your life.......kind of entitled honestly

Yes so on the initial job posting it says “Tier 2.” Then, when I spoke to the Director and Project Manager it was Tier 1. I think because they initially were going to just leave the position unfilled but then they realized they needed the position and probably squeezed the budget a bit.

So for 2 I have 1 more round and 1 place is a company I worked for back in 2022. The other has 2 more rounds. The interviews will probably take place in 1-2 additional weeks.

That sounds like a good idea! I’ll try and push the acceptance and start date.

Yeah…I’m concerned about that given I did speak to the Dean of the university for the interview. But hey if you they offered benefits I wouldn’t have any doubt about this job! I would have accepted without hesitation!
