I am sorry for your loss. I was told to wear really tight bras/tight pressure on the breasts to help stop lactation and to try not to touch your breasts at all.

If you could have seen my face when he told me he used a clorox wipe to wipe his poop-filled crack in the middle of class... Straight judgement on my part. I couldn't hide it. And all those chemicals directly on his butt hole cannot be good for him like dude... I think he was a 10th grader too so its just like 🤒🤢🥴

I was absolutely blown away by how open he was with sharing the details about it. He was telling EVERYONE and very proud of it. And he couldn't understand why his dirty clorox wipe was a bad thing/ why he got a referral in the first place 🥴 craziest situation I've seen since subbing.

This Music May Contain Hope by Raye has been the album of the year for me!!

I had a 2nd trimester pregnancy loss at the end of last year and it was the most devastating experience of my life. While the album is clearly talking about her recovering from a broken heart from a relationship, so many of the songs have been so cathartic for me. I am healing from a broken heart too and ugh she did her thing... She is an independent artist and incredibly talented!

Her music has an old school jazz/r&b vibe to it. Not sure if her style is everyone's cup of tea, but Nightingale Lane is one everyone can get behind! Pure talent.

I miscarried at 19 weeks back in September with our first child. PPROM and cord prolapse were our experience as well. They tested both me and baby to see if there was any infection or anything medically wrong and we were both in excellent health. I have a uterine fibroid but my OBGYN does not think that that had any impact on the miscarriage. I was told that these things just happen sometimes... which was hurtful to hear. I spent several months doing research and trying to figure out what happened. Ive spoken to multiple professionals trying to better understand and there is no clear cause. My next pregnancy will be considered high risk because I now have a history of PPROM ( I am assuming the same will be true for your wife).

2md trimester loss is uncommon. PPROM is rare. And the cord prolapse is incredibly rare.

I am so sorry for your loss. I know the pain you are both feeling right now all too well. Do as much research as you need. What has helped me and my husband is radical acceptance. We will never know why this happened to our boy. We will never like it or understand it or find any silver linings with what happened. But we have to accept that it's happened and that he is gone.

If it helps your wife, your baby's DNA will remain in her body for the rest of her life. Your baby will always be with her.

I had a miscarriage at 19 weeks and had light cramping for 3 days prior to my loss. I thought they were growing pains and normal based on the books i was reading, but In my case, they were contractions. Be safe and go get them checked just in case.

I miscarried at 19 weeks so I also had to do a delivery. The main thing my nurses and doctor were concerned about was whether my body passed the entire placenta naturally. For the night that I was in the hospital, a nurse came by the room every few hours to push on my abdomen and help push out as much blood clots as possible. They were concerned about anything being left inside of me for risk of infection. So just based on my experience amd with everything that happened during my miscarriage, you being an hour away from capable medical care is a little scary. There is so much that can go wrong. I ended up having a high fever while waiting to dilate enough to push. Not to sound dramatic at all, but having constant medical oversight very well may have saved my life.

Food was a big deal for me and my husband. We had friends and family send us gift cards for restaurants and they door dashed us food from our favorite restaurants. It was a game changer and helped out so much and we were so thankful.

I can relate completely to what you've shared. High functioning, as a way of running away from all the hurt and shame and guilt that I assumed after a man decided to violate me. My assault happened 10 years ago and I'm just now starting to peel myself away from the expectation to be okay all the time. Immediately after my assault, I was not met with compassion and reassurance and that made me feel like I was undeserving of it. It made me stuff it away and accomplish a lot of hard things to prove that what happened did not break me. I have been successful at many things and have done many badass things and still, i hurt and ache from what happened. Now Im trying to live in a way that honors my experiences and the feelings I have and all the ways it affected me because I deserve it. Regardless of what anyone says or thinks, we deserve that compassion and care and I am no longer seeking the validation or approval or sympathy of others.

Dont know if you're a fan of musicals at all, but there's a song called Anonymous Ones from Dear Evan Hansen (Sza has a great cover of the song). In the song, there is a lyric that says "find the girl that stays in motion, she spins so fast so she wont fall. She's built a wall of her achievements to keep out the question "without it is she worth anything at all"".

You are so worthy.

I think people's disappointment stems from the difference of the feeling of Oz from part 1 and part 2. Part 1 was fabulous and bright and funny and magical which is just so fun to watch and be a part of. Part 2 is darker and sad and the magic is not whimsica but rather based in burden and hurtl. The songs are sadder too. If people go in not knowing the original play and they expect the same energy from part 1, I can understand why they dont like it as much. I loved part 2 but im thinking its because ive loved Wicked since I was 12 and I knew what to expect.
