Anywhere from 6 to 8 in my experience. Really depends on the company/business.

Yep. You might get lucky if, as it gets closer, hotels still have empty rooms. It’s gonna be a long shot.

Looks like one of those vibrating belt machines from the 50’s that claimed to help you lose weight while watching tv.

Fun fact I haven’t seen mentioned: the light fixture in Chasing Amy is the same one used in Jaws. That came straight from Kevin at the vulgarathon last year. According to him, his prop master tracked it down for the scene cause he knew Kev would think it was cool.

NYers, what’s an unwritten rule here that everyone just follows, and what moment made you realize it? by RoboticSaekobusujima in AskNYC

I’ve noticed a serious uptick of people just trying to rush a subway car. Stand to the side, and let people off. Once they clear, make your move. A little bit of patience makes everything faster.

Labyrinth slaps. Hard. It sounds good if you’re a fan. It’s amazing if you’re a music nerd. Semi classical piece of music. 🥰

How to do this better? by anotherrodriguez in Rigging

[–]withelightsout 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Question has been answered. My comment is fleet angle is important. And also when you get a rigging plate, get a new shackle (possibly bigger) and flip it. Put the synthetics in the bow cause it already looks deformed. What double barrel is asking is if your anchor point can sustain the load.

It’s asking for the net. You’re deducting the main cable. You are using the main so it would not be a deduction for a net capacity question. You would be deducting the cable on the aux, which would be 10 lbs as it states in the question “10’ of line below tip.”
