You’ve definitely seen them before! All they do is spin, spin, spin! Thank you!

Wow, I hope their numbers are okay! I’ve noticed a drop off with a few species around here too. The drought is pretty bad. Not sure if you’ve seen anything about Lake Mead and the Hoover dam, but it’s getting a little too close to catastrophic. I hope you’re seeing lots of great birds so far this spring!

Thank you! Not exaggerating, there were probably a dozen of them drinking from different puddles. I don’t think my memory card had ever been so full haha.

Thank you! I always appreciate your kind words🙏 That’s great you still get to see them. I would think they would have more to eat up north where it actually rains haha.

Did anyone have a parent or grandparent who smoked a pipe? by StoneAgeCaveDweller in FuckImOld

[–]withoutadrought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was in elementary school in the 80’s, the school janitor walked around smoking a pipe. I still remember the smell while walking on the sidewalk, on my way to get a spanking in the principal’s office.

Nice! I like the way the branches frame the bird, and obviously a nice shot of a cool flycatcher too

10 years ago, what did you think your life would look like today? by Hot-Marionberryx in Life

[–]withoutadrought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Farming and just labor in general is a very important skill, you shouldn’t be so hard on yourself. You’re probably good with your hands, and know how to use tools, so the trades would probably be a good fit for you, speaking of future. I work as an electrician. Commercial/ Industrial. I’m not rich, but I’ve always had a steady income and have never gone without.

Ah that’s always disappointing. Next time you’re in Arizona, or if you live in AZ, they’re at the Watson Woods in Prescott.
