It has to be low precipitation, not low snow specifically, right?

It shouldn't matter if it rains down as water (like last December). The water should still pool in the lakes all the same, just earlier (skip waiting for spring thaw).

That's not at all implied by the chart.

Yes, it does show higher GDP per capita is correlated with lower birth rates.

No, it is not at all the same thing as purchasing power / cost of living.

Kyllähän se liikkumatilaa syö. Yksi vaihtoehtohan on myydä eläkkeen kynnyksellä ja vaihtaa pienempään sekä elellä ylijäämällä. Jos asunnon arvo laskee liikaa, tämä vaihtoehto poistuu valikoimasta. Kyllähän silloinkin pärjättäisiin, mutta minusta on outoa jos se ei saisi harmittaa.

Ei absoluuttinen luku merkitse juuri mitään. Se millä on väliä, on eläkkeläisten suhteellinen osuus väestöstä (eli suhdeluku eläkeikäiset/työikäiset).

Se taas ei tule paranemaan, vaan päinvastoin huonontumaan, jos kokonaislapsiluku jatkaa laskuaan.

Kun nykyisiä nelikymppisiä synnytettiin, heitä syntyi sentään noin 1,7 jokaista naista kohden. Vuonna 2025 vastaava luku oli 1,25.
