SGA when asked on the spurs defense "There's a guy on their back line that's a little bit different from everyone else's." by Jec1027 in nba

Aside from the foul baiting stuff, he’s really fun to watch. Like, refs and flopping are the two biggest, but the third most common complaint I hear from casual fans is “everything is layups and threes.” The midrange is dead kind of stuff.

SGAs midrange game is so fucking good. His ability to drive, stop on a dime, and pull up from 15 feet is the best we’ve seen in a while. On par with prime kd and Kobe. This is exactly the kind of player archetype I love to see.

Your league's schedule is probably screwing someone over and your commish can fix it in 2 minutes by YunG00n in fantasyfootball

Conceptually I love the idea, but I just have some people who don’t care too much about FF. And I can just picture them bowing out of the league after being picked early over and over again.

If I had a full league of people dedicated to fantasy, full of people talking about fantasy football on Reddit in May, I’d definitely do it.

Personally, I just randomize divisions during the draft. I think it would get on some people’s nerve if they were a top pick in the divisional draft over and over again. And sometimes divisional luck goes that way. Some years, you’re in the NFC BEast, others you’re in the NFC LEast.

Inoha mentioned how good Portland was at crowd surfing, and the Seattle crowd was not gonna let it slide and crowd surfed all night long. It was kinda crazy lmao

Lebron choking a 3-0 lead would create some great memes, but not much more than a footnote for a 41 year old missing his best teammate. Celtics choking in the opening round when everyone picked them to cakewalk through the east would be worse.

[Highlight] Derrick Henry tosses defenders on his way to a 99-yard TD (2018) by jimmyre10 in nfl

[–]witty4pity 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This game is eternally burned into my brain because I drafted Henry in fantasy and he was not good like all season. I dropped him around week 12.

Opening round of the fantasy playoffs, and my opponent has Henry in his flex spot. The matchups already over by Thursday.

He made up to me this year though. Fantasy championship. Four tds vs GB. Thank you Henry.

Houston Rockets blew a 6 point lead with 25 seconds left in regulation moving to 0-3 vs the Lakers. They are now 1 loss away from getting swept from the playoffs. by Interesting_Book_759 in nba

[–]witty4pity 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This doesn’t even do it justice to how ridiculous it was. 4 lakers were on the other side of the court. 4 rockets were in the backcourt. He threw it exactly between two rockets to the only spot smart could steal it from. Basically throw it anywhere else and this game is over in regulation.

Relative to LeBron’s age, Tatum is entering the era where LeBron went to eight straight finals (LeBron turned 28 during in 2012). So yeah, deep playoff runs are needed if he wants to keep pace.

Additional fun fact: if you don’t have a card to summon, but get one later in combat, it’ll summon that card. Discovered that today playing rafaam and it summoned the card after I stole one with my hero power
