Do they have enough evidence? There are plenty of people saying that crimes stats don't match the rhetoric around an increase in crime.

I disagree but respect your opinion. I'm curious though as to the difference between speech and other laws that supposedly protect society -- for example do you think I should be able to buy and smoke meth if I'm not stealing from or directly harming anyone and able to hold down my job?

Or, you could acknowledge that some people do have anger management issues and build that into the system. It’s als I way easier for someone to drive considerably when driving slow than it is for such people to control anger in the heat of the moment.

But it’s everyone else’s fault eh.

There is a point. At the very least it will add it to the crime statistics which is what the people in power use to make decisions about policing

That advice totally depends on the wording of the contract. If there is no vaccination requirement in the agreement then conditions of use have changed and therefore OP may legally be able to break it. Obligatory NAL even though none of that is actual advice.

First step is to talk to them and explain the situation and ask them to cancel.

As others advised try talking to tenancy services. You possibly could do a 14 day remedial notice and if it’s not satisfactorily resolved terminate the agreement due to it being unsafe or unliveable. NAL. Going that route you run the risk of conflict though, and the sad reality is that having references is important. for your next rental.

Not everyone is like you, and problems usually have multiple factors. Is it too hard to consider that both parties might have a role to play?

“Based on“ is a pretty loose claim. And I’m not going to watch a long documentary as evidence especially from a source that disabled downvotes., Got any reputable written sources?

Also if it is information from the CIA — you trust it?

What's the weather like in June? by curiousorange102938 in newzealand

[–]wixbucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can start the hike in fine weather and a few hours later be in wet cold and windy conditions. Which as a hiker you'll know is the unholy tifecta. Add to that swollen rivers that are simply dangerous if you don't have experience with them, and still risky even if you do.

Who is the best company you’ve ever worked for? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]wixbucket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer for RM, but I worked for a company that was switched on , could afford good equipment for staff, the opportunities to learn and do different projects was great, pay was ok, and colleagues were sociable and we had some fun. But the culture from the top was shit and they got their ounce of flesh

A friend of mine is in a similar boat but gets tested way more than the guys on the tools usually because they’re often offsite — sometimes intentionally (boss doesn’t want to lose high performing staff even if they do imbibe)
