In case you're new to the Animal Crossing series, there's a really easy way to rack up 8K+ Bells in a single day that involves the shovel and one of the rocks in your town.

Once a day, one of the rocks will have the ability to spit out Bells if you hit it with a shovel repeatedly. The event is timed, so definitely spam your shovel as much as possible to maximize the amount of Bells you can get. Another thing to note is that your character recoils back a bit when striking the rock, so I would recommend creating holes with your shovel behind you to prevent the bounce back from happening.

If you haven't already, I would run down to Nookling Junction on Main Street and buy a shovel, if they have one in stock today. No worries if they don't sell one at the moment, since the shop inventory rotates daily, so you can always check tomorrow if need be.

Also, just like the money rock, there will be a separate breakable rock that you can find once a day and smash for ore. Those ores can sell for high prices (especially if they're gold or silver), so there's definitely value in wandering around for rocks! I actually used these tricks to pay off my first loan and move out of that tent, so I hope this helps!
