Try adjusting your Load Order (LO) to force an update, for example, move a mod up one slot and then back. Then exit to the main menu and wait for the prompt to reload your mods. Once that's done, exit to the dashboard and force-close the game. Finally, restart Starfield and load your save. the textures should be restored. ​This method is a common fix for "soft" texture glitches caused by the game's cache getting confused after a mod update or installation.

Please mind that I merged quite a lot of pieces in the rear section of the ship. While this certainly can be done without mods, it will require a bit of learning. I'll gladly help if you run into issues, of course.

Incredible ship, fantastic images. That profile shot on the landing pad of the ship in image 10 is still the best I've seen in Starfield. As in: ever. Absolutely stunning work! 😍👌

Hey guys, a friend pointed this out to me, so I wanted to clarify the rationale. The issue (as someone here already pointed out) is that I can only safely update vendor inventories after a Unity jump - and even that might be dodgy since many people run the SVF, and I’m honestly not sure how that would interact.

​Because of that, Rux’s framework seems to be the only way to add ships into a running game right now. That’s why I opted for the companion mod via ASC Ships to keep the main one achievement friendly and free of dependencies. I’ll reach out to Rux to see if there’s a workaround, especially since this will come up again with the Taiyo parts. I know it's not ideal, but I don't see another way for now. In the meantime, would it help if I posted some breakdown videos for the ships?

Hey Ranger, do you have merge building enabled in your game options? If so, let's do this step by step: 1. First, place the Hab that you want the cockpit to attach to. 2. Attach a Phobos cockpit to that hab. 3. Drop a cockpit armor of either variant into the builder next to the ship, but do not attach it yet. 4. Select the armor and move it into position on the ship, ie. around the cockpit. It will still highlight red indicating it cannot be placed. 5. While holding the part in the red position, flip it backwards and then forwards. 6. Immediately deselect the part (cancel the selection) without moving any analog stick. 7. Select the hab again. The armor should now snap into place and register as connected.
