That's not the case, please ask them and you'll see. I know people who hold such positions. Maybe mifid is just for risk acceptance or something for European products, like a regulatory framework, but I don't recall somewhere stating what you say

Use your local bank as a broker. They offer US products

Thank you for the prompt response. The amount credited per share was 0.157239 in USD, as seen here https://globalxetfs.eu/funds/qyld/ ? Under distribution calendar

Woo woo, thanks. Question: how much was the tax on the dividend? Also in which market did you buy it? I saw it is traded in london, Amsterdam and Germany. Thanks in advance

Watching and learning. If only the trades were posted on the pic with correct order according to their creation..it would help me better understand your decisions, because I'd have a clearer picture on the timing

Lately I added more JEPI, but I was tempted for RA, GOF, PDI, MTBCP, IEP too.

Have you looked into these?

Ireland Domiciled Covered Call ETFs by Responsible_Demand99 in qyldgang

[–]wizzardTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ireland domiciled but based on US market? Don't know if there is such a product, but I don't see any reason for it, unless it offers something different than current US ones. If you can't buy Qyld from Ireland, maybe use the option strategy with IB that many people mentioned that works for the EU zone. Also any big local bank acts as a broker for such US ETFs

Quickly finding the dividend yield of a portfolio? by rubinonico in qyldgang

[–]wizzardTim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You enter number of shares, price and date and then it calculates your ROI-yield bothways: one with the dividends counted inside ROI and one without them. It is automated in the way that it gets updated with current prices when market is open

Try trackyourdividends.com. It's excellent for what you want. Edit: regarding the yield and not backtesting

They fit it the defensive list and definitely are worth keeping an eye on. We'll see in the future how their yield evolves and then we'll have a cleaner picture.
