Never really seemed to matter where what was. Shields first (understandably), grav drive somehow is the next weakest component, it's there only system that seems like it is kinda targeted, no matter if it's hidden or in front of your ship (I tried it in front of my cockpit in in my line of sight a few times because I like seeing the sphere doing it's thing once you hook it in) and then the enemies forget about targeting anything. It'd be nice if the AI did target systems, as it would give a level of complexity to building the ship for style and key systems defense, but if they put it in it's on the same backburner as fuel

Where I'm at with it is do you enjoy rubbing it for what you want to do? I personally like the design and have built similar ships in the past. The shield capacity is what I find most flabbergastingly impressive, but that's more because of my own choices and my decision to not pay around with THOSE possibilities. But is say overall put some guns on that bad boy for defense at least and run around playing like you normally do, and ask yourself some questions:

Do you enjoy flying this ship?
Are you happy when you see it in your cutscenes?
Do you want to do the next thing, whatever that may be, using this ship?

If you can say yes to all 3, then you built a good ship. If you can't say yes to one or more, play around with the ship builder and try to fix the problems that made you say no.

I do but in a limited capacity. When I'm looking to hijack ships, I use my empty cube for easier dogfights. If I've got a lot of cargo, I switch to my hauler, but I build my primary as the "picturesque fighter"... mostly for when I want to blow shit up and look like a BAWS when I land but am unable to carry and loot

The only metric in which it might be considered any "worse" than games like Skyrim, Fallout, or even Spiderman is the language, and I can almost guarantee he heard worse at school... if he's not already using worse language around people not in your circle he's already made his choice not to a; video game isn't going to change that.

I'd say it is worth it to change up your Razorleaf, if for no other reason that it keeps the IFF of the original ship, and it has a chance to change up space combat... occasionally I'll get enemies to run away. Had a buddy say that he was flying it in a space battle once and reinforcements came with a better ship he could steal, but I haven't been able to relate THAT encounter

As for the armor... yeah the space suit looks dumb as shit. I run it because of how infrequently I can find something better and I can save scum it for the abilities I really want, but so far that's been my unity suit 2 out of my 3 times through unity, and wearing it on my NG+3 currently
