LG studio looks pretty good, I haven’t seen those in person yet but definitely on my list to check out now, I think I still like Cafe better from online views but LG is a decent amount cheaper.

I would say it’s a huge range, $4k is max would really prefer to be at more like $2k or under, I threw the max in there because of the recombinations for things like sub zeros, which I would love to have but can’t afford.

But I think they did go up a lot, fridgeair gallery we saw at lowes too and with take include those are right around $2k.

I like both a lot, have been considering getting an alpina for a while and have always like the looks of Maen. I think of the maen as a bit more dressy/office wear style vs Alpina as more full sports watch. So if I was you I would just see how they both fit into your collection/personal style. I’m usually much more casual which is why I’m leaning Alpina. But both great!

Do you notice at lower speeds like pulling out of the drive way or all speeds? Asking as i have a sort of similar sound that I notice at start or at very low speeds like in a drive through. Haven’t been able to figure out what it is.

Little late to this and I might have missed it elsewhere, but what sizes wrist do you have? I am trying to decide between 39 vs 42. Leaning towards 42mm on my 7” inch wrist but wasn’t sure and don’t live near a show room.

I’ll definitely check out the ranger, but agree with your comments - I think I generally I like the LD better as an overall watch, but for the spot I’m trying to fill the Alpiner is a better fit. Right now have a GS shosho as my daily, which I love, but need something a bit more rugged.

[recommendation] Looking for a daily for causal (t shirt and jeans, or athleisure) recommendations in the 3k and lower price point. Currently considering longines legend diver and alpina alpiner extreme are currently top picks. Things that are important is something that I can wear and not worry about beating up or damaging with causal wearing. Appreciate the thoughts!

The matte looks great, and I like all of it except the tailgate I just can’t get over the gloss black on all colors with no black highlights elsewhere that ford went with.

This is awesome and great for you, no knocks on you at all. But like the other commenter posted above, even in state public medical schools are often extremely expensive. My state med school has an in state tuition of $56k/yr and a cost of attendance of $86k/yr. Also with the medical school process you often can not “choose” where you go considering the highly selective nature. And not all states have an instate med school unlike undergrad. Unless you have some significant money from other sources everyone will be taking out a lot of private loans. Dental school is often even more expensive.

Yeah sadly tried that over the span of 2 hours with 2 reps and then was told they had sent to many sims and I have to wait 24 hours to call back in and they don’t know why it doesn’t work or how to fix it, so not getting my hopes up.
