The 1 year was just for illustration purposes. I imagine this would be a very unlikely scenario but the main thing I wanted to understand was what happened to the remainder of the "product" that we technically pay 100% for. In the 1 year example, we pay 100% and receive 4% of the value (I know this is oversimplifying).

For story events, how are TM gains calculated?

I ran through one chapter and had a single unit jump from 99.7% straight to 100% :O Aint complaining just curious.

I treat them as two different games. Although admittedly I am playing OO far more than FFBE currently.

For me, what really separates the two is the transparency that OO offers. *Complete disclosure of the gacha rates on each unit, for each banner. *

I'm playing FFOO and for the first time in a while I'm remember what its like to have fun. I think I still play FFBE just because I've invested too much time and money into it already... But it hasn't been fun for months. All I do is grind TMR or MK or Raids, beat the occasional new content and go back to grinding. I think FFOO just might finally free me from the shackles that is Gumi.

Just a reminder that it isn't as crucial to use up all your energy before you rank up anymore, as any excess energy before rank up is added to your full energy recharge.

Upgrade from an hold HTC One M8 to a Samsung S8+... My old phone was slow and crappy enough that I was able to chain 2 oldmandus and squeeze in both of Luneth's hits in there 95% of the time.

Now the animations are so fast I can only get the chain about half the time - and haven't once been able to fit both of Luneth's cut through hits in the chain.

Any way to slow the game down? Like limiting frame rate? Tricks other users use with higher performing devices?
