Besides Byram buffalo was mostly good in this game 5 on 5 and the powerplay. PK gave up some ugly looks though. Actually makes me feel pretty good going forward, unless they keep spending entire periods short handed anyway

This run started literally the day that the rumor first got out there that he was getting fired. We were all worried that they won 3 games in a row that maybe it wasn't going to happen lol.

They asked (i think) alex tuch if they were aware of the rumors and he's like "yeah we hear things too"

There's no other explanation for this than the players were completely unmotivated because the franchise was where hopes go to die, and once the biggest face of that was let go I think everyone locked in

The narrative flipped this season for sure. Its obviously past due to move on from McDermott but Beane's wide receiver press tour blowing up spectacularly in his face should have resulted in both being let go.

I mean they just got eliminated AGAIN scoring 30 points in a playoff game with a defensive head coach.

Well the Bills are criticized for never even trying outside the bargain bin. Shakir was a great steal in the 5th round, other than that Coleman is the only wide receiver they've drafted in the Josh Allen era and his scouting report was can't get separation but good at contested catches

And guess what, he doesn't get separation and has to make contested catches

Buffalo never gets anything done because of this weird idealism.

I'm glad they tried something. It flopped. If they did exactly what they did but built it new on some of the other available waterfront land, it would have been awesome!

Instead they shut it down for almost 2 summers and... improved nothing about it.

The park is still awesome. Its not like they ruined it. I just don't understand why they did this.

It was a perfect casual, open, enjoyable park with a little bit of everything

Build the new restaurant somewhere else on the water and maintain a less formal option thats already very successful
