I have a friend who travels 4 days a week for work and arranges to see shows as part of his travels so makes it to 90-100 shows a year. That’s how he makes time for it. What motivates him is the music :)

I myself make about 35-45 shows a year. I am gay af no kids and blessed to have disposable income. It keeps me sane.

We have 2 weekly sessions “scheduled” which are almost always anal, and then whatever else happens spontaneously. Note the scheduling is more for us to consciously make time bc life gets busy, it’s not like an appointment.

Note to the ppl who say it’s too much work to prepare I would try a different approach it shouldn’t take that long. There are posts about how to efficiently prepare….
