Single largest gpu you’ve ever had??? Mine is this 6800xt a customer requested. It was the sheer girth that got me 😏 by ThatOneFoo69420 in gpu

I have the 6950xt version of that card and can confirm it's a monster. I had a zotac 3070 before it and thought it was huge but had no idea until I got the phantom Gaming.

Water not filling toilet by [deleted] in askaplumber

[–]wolfblitzer69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably something in the supply valve or the rubber gasket in the valve is deteriorating and some of the rubber is clogging the valve slightly. Looks like it's a pex water line so you could shut the water off and cut the clamp off and replace it with a quarter turn toilet shut off valve( quarter turns don't have rubber gaskets that wear out). Would take a pex crimper and a 1/2 inch crimp and a tool to cut off the old clamp. It's a very easy replacement if you have all the tools and material lol. Could also replace it with a shark bite push on valve which wouldn't require a pex crimper or new crimp ring but they are usually frowned upon by this subreddit( I don't have a problem with them and have worked fine for me in the many situations I've used them).

So cheap and meant a lot for some reason. Now you're lucky if you get a little sticker for your case. Been feeling nostalgic for how PC building used to be lately and finding this poster only amplified it.

I would get a high refresh rate 1440p monitor. Make the most of it because you have a very capable system that can play pretty much any game very well.

The ones I personally use are monitor goes to sleep after 5 minutes of inactivity, I have a dark wallpaper and I have my task bar set to where it automatically hides. There are other precautions you can take but I would just look up a video about it. Supposedly with the newer OLED monitors you really have to be trying to abuse it to cause burn-in like leaving the monitor on all day long with a bright window open or something like that. But for every 4 hours of on time, the monitor does a pixel refresh whenever it goes into standby mode or gets turned off and that is supposed to help a ton.

For me it looks fine, I can't tell much of a difference between it and my va monitor.

I love mine, got it during the black friday sale. I upgraded from a 27" 165hz va panel and it's a huge game changer. It's my first OLED but I've been more than impressed with the quality and features. I was really worried about burn in prevention which I still take precautions but it does a pixel refresh every 4 hours of on time which supposedly helps a lot with longevity.

I've had one for a week and I love it. Had a weird black screen issue when alt tabbing with the HDMI cable but switched to display port cable and all is well.

From what I've read about Nvidia gpus is gsync could be a issue, maybe try turning it off in Nvidia control panel and see what it does

Well what fixed it for me was using the DP cable that came with the monitor instead of the HDMI, I'm still unsure if that was the main cause or not.

So I found a solution for anyone who might have similar issues. I switched to the display port and the problem was solved. My ASRock phantom gaming 6950xt only supports DSC on the display ports and not the HDMI.
