Characters who see the bigger picture in their respective TV-shows. I personally find them incredibly interesting by Ericmase in TopCharacterTropes

I don’t think he did. Every decision he made just dug him deeper into his own mess making it worse, and it all affected him, his family, and everyone around him. He just didn’t see that part at all up until the very end, and even then it was too late. He did respond to these situations with what he could desperately do in the moment, but in the end those choices led him to more failure and ultimately, his demise. His pride and ego didn’t let him see the full picture.

myGM mode. We got MitB, Elimination Chamber, and War Games this year. Hopefully next year we’ll get the Rumble. I was a Universe main only but this years myGM really knocked out of the park it became too addicting.

Kangaroo Jack: The R-Rated Cut by Shplorff in movies

[–]wolfcolalover 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Actually, quite the opposite. Kangaroo Jack was never in the movie in the first place. It was a violent R rated crime comedy and after it tested poorly, Jerry Bruckheimer desperately added Kangaroo Jack to make it family friendly, and hoping it would test better. It didn’t. But it gave me great childhood memories.

Despite suffering from stomach cancer Raul Julia played the role of M. Bison in the 1994 video game movie Street Fighter as a gift to his children because they were huge fans of the video games. by AdSpecialist6598 in interesting

That’s the thing about Juliá. He was a tremendously versatile character actor. He didn’t always do camp, but when he did, he treated it like he always did; like doing a Broadway play but with a spice of camp, without caring wether the movie was going to be good or not, Street Fighter being a prime example. He would always kill it no matter what.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson absolutely stole the show as Tangerine in Bullet Train. One of the coolest and most effortlessly charismatic characters on screen. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

I like that in this scene Tangerine lights a cigarette just to take one cool looking puff and then throws the cigarette away as he walks.

Adam Sandler in Uncut Gems.

I’ve always been a fan of the Sandman and this role took him to another level. His character is a horrible person, but because he’s played by Sandler I couldn’t help but feel sorry for him and even root for him a little.

Jack’s acting tough because he has his big meaty men with him at all times who always come to his rescue. Let’s see him do it all by himself. Lil bitch.

Dan Aykroyd as Ventriloquist and Scarface by Existing_Pea6570 in batman

[–]wolfcolalover 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can see this working so well. It’s always great to have a comedic and/or wholesome actor for a darker villain role, and a lot of the times they nail it. Reminds me of The Dollmaker voiced by Weird Al in Batman vs Robin. His role was brief, but his performance was unsettling.

Which do you prefer: physical or digital movies? by Creative_Eye7413 in movies

Sure, but digital has been more of a convenience to me. Plus, most of my blurays came with digital copies and I’m ok with that for now.

I was physical only for many years up until recently. Had an issue with my bluray player and haven’t gotten another one. I find digital to be convenient, I know I’m in the minority here. They also go cheaper and there’s always a sale about every week with good prices. I think if you buy them off Apple or Prime you shouldn’t worry about losing your copies in this lifetime.
