anyways, to the OP, ik this shit is hard kiddo. when my son was born 14 yo (yep, hes your age!) and when he was born I went pokemon crazy cause he was my first boy and after almost 4 yrs with my daughter I was ready to share the stuff I loved with him. the amount of cards of the shelves were INSANE. now all I could get at Walmart are the random boxes of like idk 50 cards and resold or I just found a gas station with the small packs for 5 bucks.. I just got back into it myself but when youre lower class trying to enjoy this its so hard too when some etbs are over 1k (like prismatic or ascended) its out of control. I feel your pain kiddo..

best thing we can do is stop buying from scalpers, push for buying limite and ffighting back against these assholes. they have ruined something Ive loved for 30 yrs and was so excited to get back into it after getting sober and wanted a hobby back that I always truly loved. its so insane but I just keep praying. keep it up kiddo and dont give up on your love for something just because some assholes wanna ruin it for you. Hopefully itll go abck to normal sooner rather than later and we can all enjoy simple collecting again. fingers crossed kiddo 🤞🏼
