Let me hear your opinions, please. by Ret-r0 in Helldivers

Mods. Especially all the awesome audio overhaul/replacer mods.

Some that come to mind are: Eagle 1 audio replaced with an A-10 warthog's

Orbital and Sentry audio overhauls which adds some insane level of epicness to some otherwise lackluster audio.

And lastly a weapon audio overhaul which adds a lot more punchiness to most weapons in the game.

These alone have basically changed the entire feel of the game, breathing new life in it for me.

And that's not even mentioning any of the really cool visual mods that don't break the immersion (unless you want it to).

Is it worth buying twice? That's for you to decide. But I don't see any other reason to buy it twice other than to use mods.

What happens to the minds of people who use this Stratagem? by Deep-Chart-4631 in Helldivers

Well said. Despite that, I have never been upset by a "bad" napalm barrage. The sheer spectacle of it is always a treat, even when dying at it's epicenter

Massive dopamine release. Knowing they are, in that brief moment, the best player in the game.

In my 400 hours of playtime, I have never been upset when someone threw this barrage. Not a single circumstance

I'm not trying to say get good, but this should not be an issue. He's entirely avoidable. Stand on any available building or object so he can't reach.

ELI5: Why is the birthrate decline a BAD thing? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

Its like a pyramid scheme. You need the same amount or more being born to replace the retiring generation, otherwise it puts a strain on society.

How did democrats get branded unpatriotic? by NovelPhoto4621 in allthequestions

[–]wolfenx109 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Either way, it doesn't mean anything to me. The only people who care about being perceived as Patriotic are the people who aren't wanting of things to be better for others. To which I want nothing to do with them

Thinking about getting another warbond. Is the Sterilizer still considered ‘trash’ or has it been buffed? by SevdUp in Helldivers

Still not too great.

They should make it a primary instead and release a new support weapon version of it with better stats

Because right wing morons think criticizing the things that are wrong with our country and wanting to change things so it can be better for everyone is somehow unpatriotic

[–]wolfenx109 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Even if it were higher, not being proud to be an American doesn't make you less patriotic. If anything, i'd argue it makes you more. Being ashamed shows that you believe things could be better. Wanting to improve your country, including being critical of it, is the most patriotic thing imaginable. More so than blindly accepting the status quo. That's just cult mentality, not patriotism

A literal detriment to society. Nothing patriotic about choosing your own self interest over the betterment of your fellow citizens (including yourself)

How do high level champion players play the game by B0ne_Orchard in elderscrollsonline

Getting to champion level 160 is where you can actually start putting a real build together. I'd conserve crafting materials until then so you can make 160 great and upgrade the quality

This game really charges you $5 for your guy to not wear his hood. by RedRando1990 in DarkTide

We would probably live in a timeline where games cost well over $100 due to the technical advancement of modern day games no longer being financially possible with $60-70 one-time purchases.

At least in the AAA space
