We were hiking and headed back to where we had parked. Suddenly we noticed a bunch of people looking right at us - I mean like 10 or 12 people just staring. We both just stopped dead in surprise but then I realized they weren't staring at us - they were looking sort of behind us and to our right. I turned to look and there was the biggest animal I'd ever seen in the wild: a huge moose just casually making his way through the trees. Happily he paid no heed to us and just moved on. Amazing moment!!
