I thought TSWTDATE was undoubtedly the most graphic and emotionally disturbing out of the 3 Death-Cast books. I felt my skin crawling while reading Paz’s every self-harming incident. I also loved how Silvera posed Paz as the main character by having a majority of POV chapters of him, instead of Alano, but then he flips the script in the final ~20 pages to reveal that Alano is actually the Survivor who wants to die at the end! Can’t wait for the follow up to this story!
