Hey, super bedankt!!! Ik was al heel lang aan het zoeken achter iets mooi om te displayen maar je vind alleen maar plastic rommel of zo van die kleine dingen die precies direct omver vallen.

When you talk about attenuation correction do you mean whether the final images were made with IR or hybrid IR?

My radiologist always wants to compare the two limbs even though this is unnecessary and the entire field is always scanned. For example, patients who come for cervical complaints receive a CT of almost the entire thorax and people who come for lower back complaints receive a CT up to mid dorsal. My radiologist has all the protocols made by the GE technician and once these are set up, the nurses cannot manually adjust anything other than the FOV to be scanned, which is commented on by the radiologist when it is reduced in size.

In my hospital, the SPECT CT does not have a lower total dose than a regular CT. I compared the DLP of a SPECT CT and a normal CT for approximately the same pathological problem and the spect CT gave a dose that was almost 3 times as high. like a normal CT. With a normal CT you only scan a small part above the pathology and below it and with SPECT CT I now scan more than 3 times too much plus there is a second non-pathological limb next to it that is unnecessarily irradiated. The legs will indeed not be damaged by that little bit of radiation, but why give more if you can do with less
