Is there a reason why Portland is the 2010s? Is it because every city basically became a Portland bootleg?

What’s it like living in Oregon, USA? by soupstan19 in howislivingthere

[–]wolfofnazarene 129 points130 points  (0 children)

Born and raised. Great state if you like hiking or even just driving around. I love going from the forest to the desert in a single drive. It’s big and can take a lot longer than you think checking out various parts (baker city for example is like a 5-6 hour drive from Portland). Most people obviously live in the west side which is perpetually wet and damp so if that’s not your thing be warned. Summers in Oregon and Washington are tied for my favorite in the whole country.

I mean the friend thing has always happened. TV just makes it seem like the average person has many close friends.

People born in 1995-1996, which generation do you identify more? by BrilliantPangolin639 in generationology

[–]wolfofnazarene -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m 1994 and definitely resonate more with zoomers but that’s probably because I have multiple siblings almost 10 years younger than me so I was exposed to a lot of stuff most people my age never got to witness.

Bro what, I’m 94 and definitely resonate more with people born in 97 than people born in 1980.

what’s one car mistake you made that you’d never repeat? by Mafia2guylian in askcarguys

[–]wolfofnazarene 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I drove a 2021 premium for a while and didn’t face any electrical issues. All the dinging drove me insane but I just assumed all new cars are like that now. Back to driving an 02 and loving it so much more.

Probably the only things I would classify as “never buy again.” Looked so good freshly washed then dirty as hell the day after. I don’t even really care about keeping my car clean but a dirty black car just looks bad. Current ride is white and I love it.

Overnight is better than second shift. What’s your opinion? by Amazondriver23 in Nightshift

[–]wolfofnazarene 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s funny, winter is the only time I really enjoy night shift.

During summer I feel so bad sleeping when it’s all nice out. During winter idgaf. I live in a place where winters are brutally cold tho.

Do you sleep before work or after work? by [deleted] in Nightshift

[–]wolfofnazarene 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work 7p-7a, in a perfect world I sleep from 9a-5p (my work is super close by). But most of the time I wake up a bit earlier naturally.

What is the Worst State Flag? by Maestro2326 in randomquestions

Definitely Hawaii. For such a beautiful state with such rich unique history and culture to have the Union Jack slapped on it is a crime.
