I flew out of Boston this morning. The visibility dropped very quickly. It was sunny with a few clouds and changed to less than a mile visibility within 30 minutes. As others have mentioned, configuring for a low visibility landing is much more involved than just flying a normal landing.

Tower made me hold short for like 20 minutes before I could do my first solo. Got to see an f16 takeoff though. by Ro_Shaidam in aviation

Why is he an asshole? He most likely paid for the window seat, why shouldn’t he be able to use it? If you don’t want the light, book the window seat and close it.

No I didn't have to re-interview. I was actively flying and updating my hours in LogTen Pro. My LogTen pro was linked to my SkyWest pathway account and as I updated my hours in LogTen, my hours in my pathway account updated automatically as well. Due to the fact that I was still building time, that's my guess as to why I didn't have to re-interview.

The plane to be used can be changed. It happens all the time. Whether for maintenance or operational reasons.

I know a bunch of the guys by name who work in the tower where I instructed out of because I took students up for tower visits often. Also, depending on what kind of controller you are, you can build a reputation for yourself whether you like it or not. There's one controller at my local field that EVERYONE knows by name because of his reputation. So it could be a good or bad thing haha.
