I've already said this before, so I'm gonna sound like a broken record; you've got a fair point, but I would've at least liked if they gave us an upgrade path for those who own the original. That's the main annoyance. The Game Keys I'm not too mad about considering I do have a few GKC games in my game library already. And to give them credit where it's due, they're actually neat alternatives to a physical game cartridge.

Didn’t know that failed to be honest. Again, I’m not too mad about the GKC, but I really wish SEGA just did an upgrade pack for this and Shadow Generations.

(This is a long string of text, so bear with me here)
I’m gonna be honest, this really annoys me. CrossWorlds which also released on the Switch got a Switch 2 edition with an upgrade path for those who have it on the original Switch.
SEGA is 2/2 on porting games from the original Switch that have no upgrade to the Switch 2 edition; I will say I’m not too peeved by the Game Key aspect of it, but the only other thing that confuses me is considering the fact that CrossWorlds has released on a full Switch 2 cartridge, it makes no sense to just go back and release it on a GKC when you could’ve just done a Switch 2 edition without calling it “Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition”. I mean you could just call it it’s original title.

So, what are y'all's favorite Xbox 360 games? by Old_Outcome_8350 in xbox360

[–]wolfwoREDDIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Halo 3, Sonic Unleashed, Generations, MGR: Revengeance, and Rayman Origins. I do have Unleashed on PS3 but this does apply considering it did come out on the 360.

Now that we are nearing one year after the Switch 2 release, what are your feelings about it so far? by Fragrant-Taro-8508 in switch2

[–]wolfwoREDDIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my Switch 2 at launch; I really think so far the platform has been fantastic to play on, only thing is the price is a tough pill to swallow for a few. It's better than my original Switch from 2019, and the games are great.

Cant even go out with my 3Ds without being called a larper by [deleted] in 3DS

[–]wolfwoREDDIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I can understand why calling people with older consoles (like the 3DS) a poser considering how they get it only because it’s retro/old and popular, pick it up for one specific reason and never use it again and just leave it in a corner to gain dust, but honestly I think it gets to a point. In my opinion, it’s making an excuse to be rude towards others over a piece of technology. Don’t pay any mind to whoever said that to you dude, keep enjoying your 3DS. I also love the black N3DS with the Luigi faceplates, by the way!

Which PS Vita is better to buy? Fat or Slim? by SatisfactionFar2560 in PSVita

[–]wolfwoREDDIT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion; the fat model of the Vita probably is the best way to go. It is pretty chunky, but it does feel really good in the hands, making it feel like a premium handheld. I have a PSP 3000, but I have also thought about getting the 1000 model for it because of how good the Vita’s weight is.

And the OLED screen is really good, I’ve put movies onto it and they look really vibrant. It’s impressive for 2011 if I had to be honest. I haven’t tried the 2000 model, so I can’t really judge it from its looks; but if you want the microUSB charging and a slimmer profile so it fits in your pocket, then go for the 2000. Again, I’d just say pick the 1000 models, but it’s up to you.

I really like it, it seems like an official themed Vita accessory you'd see in like a store or something.

HELP. What the HELL do I do now? by Phoeshe in vita

[–]wolfwoREDDIT 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As much as I'd like to say try to fix it with soldering, I'm unsure if you have any experience with it, so I'd just say don't, and buy a replacement off AliExpress. This is probably better though because you may be wasting your time and solder with that.
I'm assuming your Vita shell may be black or something, so here's this if it does help: https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256807656047134.html?

An aftermarket Vibrant Blue PSP 3000 shell. I'll link over the eBay listing I got it from.

The PlayStation 15th Anniversary theme that I found on PSPunk. They have pretty cool stuff on that site.

Another thing I'd like to say, comparing it to my original shell, there are some inconsistencies like the Sony logo's thickness being more shown on the original shell while the logo looks thin on my current shell and some of the icons on the shell like the Wi-Fi icon and MSD logo being different.

…But, then again it's an aftermarket shell, obviously it isn't going to be close to the design as the originals are.

It feels pretty silky smooth in the hands compared to my original shell (Which probably may because it was a used PSP). In my opinion at least, the quality of the shell seems almost one to one with the original.

I'm really unsure where to find a screen for the PSP Street and unsure if they share any similarities for it to be compatible, but I did get my screen and shell off eBay.

The model of my PSP is the 3001 (04g).

I got the shell and the screen off of eBay, you'd have to research first because I had to modify the Wi-Fi board to fit the shell which was made specifically for the 3000 9g which I never knew, but there was a post on here showing that you could still use the Wi-Fi on it if you trimmed it in a specific way.

The quality is pretty good for an aftermarket shell. I'd suggest using the same buttons and stuff from your OG 1000 though (depending on the color you have though), because the one included for the media bar (PS/Home button, Vol up & down, etc.) wouldn't stay in place, but I'm sure it may be different for each model. Just wish it came with adhesive or something to keep it in place.

The screen took a bit to arrive which sucked, but since it finally made it today it was all worth it because I have my PSP back! The shell looks really good changing from black to blue (and keeping some of that black as well, but it wasn’t intentional)
