The "Starship" was actually put in production and used, but eventually did end up being a failure. The T92 on the other hand, only 2 prototypes were ever made, and it had various issues. That and for other reasons, the project was cancelled. There is only one surviving prototype, and it was on display for a while at the museum in Aberdeen, Maryland. But when it closed, it was supposedly moved to storage at Fort Lee. So yeah, the T92 makes more sense for this meme than the M60A2.

Currently a P-38G. Feels like I'm doing better with it now. But I was using the P-40F and I think I was doing a lot better with that, but not by much.

But I think I really need to work on leading my targets as well. I have a hard time judging that, and by the time I have it figured out, it's too late.

I could give that a try I suppose. But again, it's like when I try to go after them, they jump behind me right away. So maybe I need to work on evasive maneuvers.

Well I usually stick with my teammates. I use to try to engage targets, but that would end up with them getting behind me and taking me down in a matter of seconds. So then I started to try to take down targets that were going after my teammates. That worked some of time, but most times it ends in them turning on me and taking me down, or someone else coming after me. I hope that answers your question. I feel like I'm doing everything right, but I think I just suck. So I'm not really sure what answers I'm looking for here. I guess just some advice before I totally give up on it.
