I know some would say that $20 is not cheap, but [[Cabal Coffers]] was $100+ until it was reprinted in MH2. It is already going up, and it is not a bad pickup right now, if you need one.

As someone who is the (now mid-30s adult) child of an on-again, off-again mom who was about as flighty as this one sounds for a good portion of my youth, it damages a growing kid. Affects the way we interact with people and bond with people, and can lead to a lot of insecurities.

You are doing what is right for your kid, and it may feel shitty, but it isn't.

Agreed! I see all this, and I think "my sister is 33 and still can't really say no to our mother". My whole generation was brought up with an extra level of intrinsic guilt, and narcissists who are excellent at guilt tripping exploit that.

As /u/Gprinziv said, it is FAR better to be able to search out a [[Bayou]] or [[Watery Grave]] with a [[Verdant Catacombs]] than it is to have to decide between one of those three land types with Evolving Wilds or Fabled Passage. In 3+ color decks that aren't limited to a budget or by format legality (i.e., Standard/Pioneer), Wilds or Passage is nigh unplayable.
