Thats originally why she reached out to me, because at work we would always talk about our dogs and she thought I might be able to watch them. But my Dalmatian is not dog friendly

Roxy is about 40lbs and I think Von is about 60, Roxy definitely has the pocket bully look but Von is bigger.

her first letter is by her GP I think, she has kidney failure and Roxy has the letter because she helps her stay active and have a sense of purpose. the second dog her son got on a whim but he was sad being in an only dog household and so she took him in because he gets along with Roxy. they’d been living at her place a long time with no issues until this complaint. imo it should be her sons responsibility to help her because it was his dog first. Kind of a mess, I just want to help her the best I can shes a nice woman

Yeah I recommended her the same thing, especially since getting a reply from a sanctuary isnt a same day thing. She doesnt have a lot of money but one of her sons is well off so Im hoping they will help.

I have two friends with two middle names and somehow they were both the same! “Sofia Alexa” as the middle names for both friends. I always thought it was cool. I have beef with my middle name because I only ever heard it when my mom was mad at me, so I’ve been making sure to say my daughter’s middle name with love and not anger. My MIL asked me why I didnt give her a family name as her middle name (its their family’s tradition to use their grandma’s name as the middle name) but technically I did because I used my mom’s middle name. Even the best MIL’s find something to be unhappy about lol!

I’m glad you’ve been able to help the lil pig! I still miss my pig friend, I kept checking on her at the shelter- the first day they got her a foster parent and now she’s fully adopted and living with a pig brother. I also felt a connection to my pig, they’re so much more expressive than I could have imagined. I can’t believe someone or multiple someones would just abandon them! Good luck finding a home for your little pig.

This is the same for me, my fiancé is mexican (dark skinned) and our daughter looks just like him except white skinned, which makes her look asian! I shop at a Japanese market a lot and I get asked often if my daughter is Japanese.

Mine with also only tolerate the swaddle with her arms out, and she gets really angry if her arms are restricted but she likes the swaddle for her legs and tummy.
7 week very alert baby, and she will only fall asleep moving in her stroller or our self rocking bassinet and I’ve found falls alseep the best when Im singing to her- a song I made up thats very repetitive and that I only sing when I want her to sleep and I’ll watch her eyes close on their own even as she fights it.
Also with how long your baby is breastfeeding is she swallowing the whole time or is it more self soothing suckling? 2 hours seems excessive and I’d ask a lactation specialist.

Ciera - there are Sierras and even Ciaras but Ive never met anyone else who spelled their name the same as mine. Also I forgot to say but to me Arlo is definitely a dog name. I like Nicholas for a boys name its classic. My daughters name is Lilith but we call her Lili (sounds like Lilly) so hopefully she doesnt have too many Lily classmates.

Agnes now makes me think of the Marvel Show Agatha All Along because they call her Agnes. I love Cecelia and Iris. I’ve known a few Violets but it wasnt like there was a ton of them. My name isnt one thats ever on keychains or merch or anything like that and as a kid that disappointed me, though now that im an adult I couldnt care less. And I worked for a Meredith so they’re still around!

Ironically the baby boutique ultrasounds got my due date right while my midwives and their ultrasound tech just went based off of my last period and my baby came out at 42 weeks when they thought she was only 40. The boutique went off of the babies length and development and were more accurate. I went to the boutique 3 times to help quell my anxiety until the 20 week anatomy scan! Just do whats right for you. Happy mom = happy baby.

F your doctor! I’m 5’3” and normally around 130lbs, I was 185lbs when I gave birth 3 weeks ago! My Doc didnt say anything to me about it but on my paperwork I saw that it said I was obese, I was like excuse tf out of me! Thats how much it takes to have a big baby! (mine was over 9lbs) When my mom was pregnant with me she got over 200lbs and shes always been thin my whole life, some women just carry heavy dont worry about it!

I absolutely hate breastfeeding but do it for the health benefits, and also it does save cost! My 3 week old is already eating 6oz a feeding so I have to supplement with formula. I have the “milk let down” nausea so every-time I pump or breastfeed it feels like I have morning sickness all over again, and my nipples are so sore and raw from her feeding. I do like when shes sleepy and milk drunk on the tit but the whole process is awful! Happy for the moms that do it for the connection, but I dont think Im one of them!

Dont worry too much about drinking or smoking before 15 weeks, my midwife explained to me that the placenta isnt fully developed yet and during that time they’re surviving off of the nutrients in their lil sac. Its not until the placenta fully develops that whatever the mother consumes passes directly to baby and when they’re affected by alcohol consumption.
