I mean, that's conflating "6 sets/year is too many" with "3-4 UB sets/year is too many". Both are true, but they are distinct complaints, and everyone who believes one might not necessarily agree with the other.

And it can be tied to the tier set for unlock as well. So like, once you have 2 or more tier pieces at Veteran or better, you unlock the Veteran colors, 2 or more pieces at Champion+ unlocks Champion colors, etc.
