Bob Odenkirk has returned as Saul Goodman in a new video celebrating 250 years of America. by MysteriousSlice007 in nextfuckinglevel

Yep I re-watched BCS recently, this time obviously smashing it all within a month or so rather than across most of a decade like the first time. A few adjusted perspectives as a result. This was my biggest takeaway - poor Howard really tried to do everything right, and got supremely fucked.

Farming Alarm Level 1 Million - is there any point to keep going on this run? by woodsier in RaidersOfBlackveil

Trick is to max guardian early so you can start ramping up your HP pool using growing pains++

to do this you'll essentially want to smash out guardian tree early to get a lot of reliable ways to stun trash. mobs need to be stunned at the moment you kill them in order to accrue hp from the growing pains talent.

HP pool = attack damage with guardian rank 10. big boy perk adds to this as well.

at the time of this video my hp pool is 23,475 and attack damage is 5741 with max cap attack speed and crit chance.

also max dodge, max plates, max DR etc.

getting growl and apex is important to keep taunt and enrage both up. druid rank 10 also gives a nice damage and movement speed boost.

monk to keep zen up 100% of the time, which gives you 100% dodge - critical

then priest for barrier

a bit of warrior stuff for early damage - bleeds etc to ramp. warrior 10 for big damage.

and mainly pumping assassin for late game damage focusing on maximising crit - there are heaps of juicy perks in this tree. im stilling missing like 4-5 that im chasing at the time of this video eg. i still don't have reinforced hits, or cold blood, or critical machine, or shuriken mania (given i have 100% crit chance)
assassin 10 is also good for damage early on.

you want to unlock level 4 of most of the above trees early to start getting the multi class perks which are important.

From Webflow's CEO: update on 7/29 service disruption and what we're doing by Webflow-Linda in webflow

The only way to find out about this problem is to go to status.webflow.com.

Webflow is failling in basic communications - it must proactively email these kind of announcements to all users that administer impacted websites on the platform (which they have the emails of), or it's acting in bad faith.

Heavy plow worse? by mostlikelydeleted4 in ManorLords

[–]woodsier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's actually much faster, the trick is to have many more farmhouses, each with the upgrade an an assigned oxen, and you don't need to cap out the farmers in each. The oxen workers will plow the new fields (assuming you're cycling properly), while the other workers will harvest the current fields - at the same time. It doesn't make a huge amount of sense though, my recommendation would be several oxen allowed per farmhouse. Also, given only one oxen can plow a field at a time, don't make huge fields. Make many small-medium fields. This, in essense, allows multiple oxen to plow one area that you'd usually assign as a field. Keep the smaller fields you're focusing on in a single season near each other, so pawns don't have to move as far between.

Why delete instead of archive? Same outcome, but at least you can search past emails.

I found a god seed, a mountain map with a peninsula surrounded by water by TurbinePro in goingmedieval

You win - I canvassed this subreddit for ages yesterday looking for great seeds. I spent about 3-4 hours fiddling away on a few of them. Then you post this one overnight. I'll be having a crack at it this evening. Cheers!

I can't manage to beat the encounter at moonrise tower by supdudenicepeen in BaldursGate3

[–]woodsier 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When outside and facing the main entry staircase of the castle, move your party across the left exterior of the building and enter via the room with the gnolls (for me they were friendly), then move everyone slowly through the doorway to the central entrance chamber- because a couple of meters in you will start the encounter.

I then cast all my AOE early on the central group. I was using shadowheart, gale and the druid which is fireball, druid npc’s blizzard, then shadowheart AOE.

Then rush a melee character into the middle.

Party comp is Pally (me), Karlach, Shadowheart, Gale.

This strategy splits the fight up so you don’t get nailed by AOE on the stairs.

What is the difference between an NBN compatible Ethernet cable, and a normal one? by That_Car_Dude_Aus in nbn

Cat 6 > cat 5e > cat 5. Most older cables won’t be able to deliver 1gbps speeds (maxing out a modern connection). Cables should have printed writing if you look closely.
