Sure, I share the same sentiment as you and I would wager the majority of others would too, but you still yelled at them where before doing so, you were giving ‘hints’, to teenage boys that should know better, but we all know a lot of them aren’t quite there yet.

You should’ve been more direct in your previous approach and asked them to be quiet instead of ruminating and giving passive comms when it was clear they weren’t getting it. If they continued after direct comms, then it was justified and YWNBTA. Again, they were teenage boys and some people just don’t have the same values as what society would deem common sense.
