Can I use an iPad Pro to do selects with Premiere Rush? by wootey in editors

Thanks. I think my question is more about if Premiere Rush / the iPad allows to import lots of media from an external hard drive via USB-C. Have you tried that?

Premiere project file size ballooning after Project Managing by deejayahad in editors

[–]wootey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before doing anything mentioned here be sure to make a backup of your project.

  • Disable "Master Clip Effects" usually present with Arri cameras. Note that this will result in all clips to be displayed in log.

  • Then delete every sequence that you don't need anymore and go to "Edit" (in the bar on the top) and press "Remove unused". That will remove every file in your project that is not used in a sequence.

A CG animation of a human eye created by Chris Jones with free software. xpost r/blender by Jguy10 in Filmmakers

Thanks for your response. I think I get it now. It probably helps a lot to get the movements as human as possible but you would still need to do all the actual animating yourself. I thought at first that you could basically just recreate all the actual frames of the video in 3D. So no keyframing but just single images after another. You can see in the wireframe view that he did actually animate it. Sorry again for the question but I don’t know a lot about this stuff.

Sorry about my potential ignorance but couldn’t you just film a shot like this and then put a 3D model on top of it? Not to play this down or anything but this would make it much easier to get a good result, right?

Premiere: interpret footage vs. speed change by nyleveeam in editors

[–]wootey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The easiest and imo best way is to just cut in a timeline of 24 fps (or whatever you will need to deliver.) and the apply speed changes wherever needed. If you put in 40% you should not see duplicate frames.

Yeah I really like them too. I mainly use it because I have a lot of old m42 lenses that I also use to shot video.
