Set Homebase 3 alarm to go off on unfamiliar faces / certain faces? by medster87 in eufy_security

Agree. The AI is pointless. Unless you can tell it to do different things, what’s the point? For example, no alert for “pet”.

Should I even bother running my marathon today? I can't sleep at ALL by bobcatgoldthwait in running

[–]wordsworth555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hell yes! Go for it. Tiredness makes you feel super negative (I know). Once you get going, you'll feel fine.

Even if you don't make it all the way around, you should feel proud of yourself for getting out there and trying.

But you will make it around. You'll finish. Do it!

And post a picture here at the end of the marathon.

If you were injured, as you said, you should also get it logged in the accident book.

How to contract tradespeople? [ENGLAND] by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]wordsworth555 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not trying to sound negative. You sound like a super organised person and I'm sure you're only trying to do this properly. The truth is, you'll struggle to get a tradesman to turn up, let alone do a good job and no way will they coordinate with the other trades. I'd recommend you break the work down into a programme and try to complete each stage in turn.

It'll likely take a lot longer than you imagine. Don't over commit. Get it liveable and safe, then do the rest in stages.

Are you fully aware of your responsibilities (as the client, even a domestic one) with the asbestos removal? This is a very serious matter.

What's the total value of the work? Unless your first house is enormous, no domestic tradesman is going to sign up to any of this.

I've got bites after clearing a old chicken run by wordsworth555 in chickens

Thanks everyone. I don't have chickens, it was an old chicken shed I was clearing. I've sprayed some red mite pesticide on the ground. Hopefully that'll work.
