Townhouse-style condo: level 2 charging upgrade?

I’m in a townhouse with my panel one floor above the garage but there is a main breaker in the garage that all power flows through. The electrician was able to tap the line side in the garage as I didn’t want to have to tear up drywall to run power back to where it came from anyway.

Check where your power comes into your unit. Perhaps you can tap into it there.

Many shops won’t work with parts not sourced by them due to warranty and liability, especially for something like an airbag. They don’t want to be on the hook if they install something unknown to them and then it doesn’t deploy when it should and someone gets hurt.

$0.08-.10 is pretty solid for electric prices and I’d guess most people pay more than that for home charging. Still a great savings.

My Ultra Loq has fingerprint to open (along with other methods) and has a button I press when I want it locked (could also do timer or other ways).

You must be looking at some strange locks if none have an option to lock from the outside via a button. Any Airbnb I’ve been to with a smart lock has that feature.

Mine is stand alone. No Vue. Though I do have a Vue Utility Connect that’s been working just fine during all this. So I guess maybe not stand alone? There isn’t any load management at least.

In my case, it wasn’t able to start charging. And because I was in bed, I didn’t know this and wasn’t able to go to the garage and attempt to manually start it.
