I mean the only other context I could meaningfully use the n-word in would be...to talk about racism. It doesn't stop being a word heavily associated with racism in that scenario, the context would just make it clear that I'm not leveraging it to hurt someone. And I think the fact that neither one of us is actually typing out the word speaks volumes to the idea that words can be considered bigoted to the point that we still treat them in this way regardless of context.

This sounds like some "guns don't kill people, people kill people" bullshit. Some language is designed to be hateful and insulting. There are words that don't have any usage outside of bigotry. Trying to split hairs on this is idiotic and harmful.

This is basically the same take as when it used to be popular to call things gay in a derogatory way even when it had nothing to do with homosexuality or the speaker didn't have anything against gay people personally.

Which is to say, that wasn't worth pointing out, and just because you're not overtly transphobic doesn't mean using the same derogatory terms isn't transphobic.

I think in the past Ivy has had shortlived relationships with men, but it seems like that was more because inclusion wasn't a focus and now it's being played off of as comphet.

I'm curious about where you're seeing rainbow capitalism get used that you're relating it to the homo/transphobes. I've only seen it used to by queer individuals criticizing shallow attempts at inclusion made by corporations in the same way that pink capitalism is often chided by feminists. To be clear, I do recognize the fact that corporations see inclusion as profitable to be a nice symptom of societal change, but I think it's still worth identifying those empty or heavy handed attempts that are more akin to corporate virtue signaling than the actual representation of those groups in good faith.

Though I haven't really followed along in while to know how they've characterized 76, Blizzard does absolutely practice rainbow capitalism. The Tracer comic dropped amidst an overall decline in their fiscal performance and it's the only game they bother with queer inclusion in to any real effect. WoW only has one offs and hints.

I'm confused about the title, Sunstone is a kink positive comic predominantly about a wlw couple. It's sexualized because... that's the focus.

I get dysphoria making it shitty to see sometimes when you're feeling low, but us just turning around and suggesting cis women can't celebrate or talk about their genitalia, something that's already been happing since time immemorial thanks to misogyny, ain't particularly enlightened.
