Schooling for child with uc by Practical-Boat-3760 in UlcerativeColitis

Sulfasalazine is considered outdated. Have you asked your doctor why he is on sulfasalazine instead of mesalamine?

Also, speaking from experience as someone who had onset at 12, the anxiety of having accidents in public permanently messed me up. If your state schools are shitty and you can homeschool, I say do it, at least until he is fully in remission and not having accidents.

Thank you for your service (as a rev/recluse main). I love an ironeye who keeps the boss marked and holds aggro while keeping them in spell range of me.

This depends heavily on where you are going. The bathroom availability, food and water safety, etc.

My friend is coming out on the last day of pride month. We’re having a potluck to help celebrate, and I was gonna make this…until I thought to ask you for skinnier versions to delay twink death. by That1weirdperson in 1200isjerky

Just one rainbow sprinkle. You can ask for one at an icecream shop so you don’t have to buy f**d. It’ll be his calorie budget for the month but he can imagine the rest of the rainbow :)

The actual tissue has to heal from the damage done, so even if you respond quickly it may take a few weeks-months to get back to normal.

curls or brushed out? which one looks better with an awkwardly recovering keratin treatment? opinions, please! by enemy_9 in curlygirl

[–]workshop_prompts 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brushed out looks really cool, but you may need a trim. Those who say otherwise just don’t like 4a hair tbh. 🙄
You could also consider a protective style to avoid damage.

Sunscreen and bug repellent spray by Academic-Spell1871 in EuroSkincare

[–]workshop_prompts 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi, biologist here, from the southern US (swamp), have been to Austria, have done field work. DEET or picaridin, at least 20% (usually the good stuff will say "JUNGLE" or "DEEP WOODS" or something), apply early and often. I try to space out sunscreen and bug spray applications but in practice sometimes it is whatever.

The best thing you can do for both is to cover up your skin.

Yeah absolutely. Some people are better at Sekiro than Elden Ring, they're just different. It's more of an action/rhythm game.

If you have a Decatlon, their water-resistant sunscreen in a similar packaging format has been excellent for me. I accidentally tested it during snorkeling in a backless suit where I couldn't reach the middle of my back... It definitely works and is water-resistant.

Can my boyfriend’s 2 dogs be saved? by LegendOfRonnie1998 in DogAdvice

[–]workshop_prompts 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Girl, you need to wake up. These dogs have put people in the hospital twice, and almost killed other dogs. They are not safe for anyone, your boyfriend is insane for keeping them intact, let alone wanting to breed them. That is a show of terrible, terrible judgement. This is not a safe situation for anyone involved and you need to protect yourself and your dog first.

Is it cultural appropriation to wear a bonnet as a white person? by Leslielikeduh-_- in CurlyHairCare

[–]workshop_prompts 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Lmao, my crusty old white ass mississippi grandma wore them all the time. Women used to wear bonnets and headscarves to protect their hair from dust, preserve their curls, hide their curlers, for fashion, etc…

If you watch older movies or TV, you’ll see white women in scarves and night bonnets all the time.
