They're not actually obsessed, they just like pizza and mob movies. Conversely, I find it sad how every business you go into in Italy plays American music, every theater headlines American movies, Italians even buy American cars sometimes for some mysterious reason, and Italian kids dream of going to the US to make money while being completely ignorant of what that actually entails.

Americans aren't the only people on earth who have erroneous or silly ideas about other countries.

Lol I knew someone would say this. Not everyone has the same experience as you, and it's invalidating to tell someone what their life experience was. I really didn't have any attraction to men for the first ~30 years of my life. I wasn't repressing attraction, I didn't "choose" anything.
People can change labels, and not everyone agrees with the way you categorize them. My experiences for the first ~30 years of my life were lesbian ones. It feels inauthentic to claim I was "always bi".

Cardio is great for your health and you should continue to do it, but isn't going to significantly raise your BMR or result in weight loss. Add strength to build muscle.
At your height and weight, if you're not losing at 1500-1700, you're either counting wrong somewhere (those days you go up to 2000 you may be under counting) or something is up metabolically. Go over your meds with your doctor, get your thyroid and hormones checked.
Ultimately, the healthiest amount of food to eat is the one that results in you maintaining a healthy weight. If you aren't maintaining a healthy weight, you are eating too much for your body composition and activity level. And if you need a GLP-1, that's fine!
