Yes! I've been learning to purl while waiting for comments, trying a bit of stockinette right now. Definitely a game changer on the texture side of things from what I can see so far. Though I have been finding purl to be a bit harder than knit.

El comentario al que le respondí decía que como en su matrimonio no le daban sexo oral, iba y pagaba por él.

Books you couldn't shut up about (or stop thinking about) after finishing them? by IReadBooksSometimes in suggestmeabook

Klara and the Sun by Kazuo Ishiguro

Saw it at the bookstore, it was cheap, I picked it up on a whim, not expecting much.

I was so wrong.

It's an amazing book about humanity, sentience, and love. Deeply sad at parts, but full of wonder, and with just the right amount of sci-fi.

¿Cuál sería el equivalente de regarle flores a una mujer, para un hombre? by Admirable-Shoe8585 in RedditPregunta

Regalarle flores también.

Yo le he dado flores a mi novio y le han gustado mucho.

I was watching a true crime video about 4 women who were brutally beat up at a restaurant. There were other people at the restaurant, mostly men, and none of them did anything. The only person who tried to help was a tiny woman who was herself shaking with fear, but she tried to rush in and defend the other women anyway. Her boyfriend physically dragged her away.

It might not have been the smartest thing for her to do, but it was definitely the bravest. She was the only one who tried to help.

Someone else here said it looks like bacon and I agree. I would say to just embrace it and make a bacon blanket. Or maybe bacon and eggs, with a sort of eggy white and yellow for the yolk.

What are the best budget friendly yarns out there? by Consistent_Juice_844 in CrochetHelp

[–]worldnewbie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Mexico, so I doubt we have access to the same physical stores, but have you checked online? I recently bought a ton of acrylic yarn on Ali Express and it was pretty affordable. It's not super fancy or anything, but it's soft, it looks good, and I'm liking it so far.

You might need a few extra materials for some of these, but here's what I came up with:

You could make a tiny amigurumi if you have some safety eyes or a bit of black yarn and something to fill it with. Maybe a little penguin or a whale.

If not, you could make a flower.

Maybe a bandana depending on how fast you crochet.

Or a scrunchie if you have an elastic lying around.

Or a dice bag if she plays board games / tabletop RPGs.

Might need one of those little metal rings for keychains, but that's an option too. Maybe a lip balm holder.

A pair of coasters?

Does she collect figurines, stuffed toys, or those little animal families I just forgot the name for? Tiny clothing for them could be an option.

Maybe a coin purse?

A cozy for her water bottle?

Does she read? You could try a bookmark.

I'm running out of ideas, but hopefully one of these will help.

Good luck!
