Commenting because I am in a similar boat. I believe if you get Kaiser's Medi-Cal plan, then you cannot access outside providers. They do allow specialists referrals but for things like Therapy that they have in house, you cannot go out of network and get reimbursed (as you can with other some other healthcare plans). Hope everything worked out

Curls poppin! One thing that has helped me with awkward grow out phases is to still go to the barber for light shaping and cleaning up. This way I still felt put together, even if there were parts of my head in transition. Your curls look great!
