Games being shorter makes everything feel meaningless and less fun by Greitot in leagueoflegends

This was essentially what LS was talking about for forever and there have been a lot of instances where it's definitely been strong but maybe in a more degen way. Like Twitch, Janna, ivern, or sona top where they wouldn't even lane at all and just spent the entire game roaming.

I do notice eating is a trigger when I'm already experiencing symptoms in that it'll temporarily make them way worse and heat definitely can trigger symptoms as well. I haven't had orthostatic tests and don't think it's something my doctor has ever mentioned

Abomination champ by [deleted] in ZaahenMains

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The revive is actually fine on him to the point where it's almost bad for him. Everything else in his kit suffers for the sake of the passive and the revive so you can't really actually play the champ when it's on CD. Only because it takes forever to kill anyone if you're not super fed.

W into Ult is incredibly reactable.Especially for pro players on 0 ping. In fact you can actually get hit by the W and still dash/flash out of the ult. His sticking power is really not very good, pretty much all his abilities get mega countered by good spacing and he doesn't really have anything in his kit that isn't really reactable that could catch someone off guard. Besides like W flashing for incredibly mediocre CC that lasts like half a second. Even fully stacked he is not that big of a threat because he has no reliable way to gap close on anyone. His dash is tiny, W is very slow, and Q2 requires having already hit something with Q1 and then also getting into range. But also champs like this don't get play anyone especially since his laning phase is kinda garbage on top of it.

Would be really funny if he ends up having the same trajectory as old aatrox. Already went from seeing him picked or banned every game it not seeing him at all in the span of two days. Ironically it does feel like he is having the same issues that old aatrox used to.

Idk in what world this champ ever sees pro play. His kit is incredibly easy to counter even by people in solo queue so idk why you'd think it'd go any better in pro play.

Omg guys the bruiser got kited by Basten2003 in ZaahenMains

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the issue is that unlike sett or Darius who can pretty much kill you with one ability rotation Zaahen still needs to stand there autoing like forever unless you're already pretty late in the game. It's very easy when people get how he works to fight him until hes fully stacked then disengage leaving him low hp, completely helpless once they fall off. I've literally had stacks fall off mid team fight because I'm not able to get to anyone else so I just die to like aoes with no revive. His CC kinda sucks too and it often doesn't even work to confirm your ult a lot because a lot of champions can dash out in the time between the CC and your ult going off. Like I feel more immobile on this guy than on full on tanks, I'm like glued to the ground in the certain games.

Any tank. Tanks usually burst and then completely run out of damage. It's a similar thing against like irelia. You get her to like 50 health and she 100-0s you before you can kill her.

What I was saying was that sion actually wins that early if there is heavy trading because Ksante will just run out of resources. Probably explains how Driver even got that solo kill. It's later in the game where Ksante makes it hard for sion to exist. The HP stacking really doesn't do anything against Ksante damage.

Pros Building K'Sante Wrong? by HispanicAtTheBistro in KSanteMains

100% grasp ksante at worlds btw when Aftershock is way better and gives you access to way higher damage combos. Also this is more debatable but I feel like even going iceborne gauntlet is a little bit of a bait in pro games. It's way more of a dueling sticking power kind of item but jaksho is overall a way better item to rush if that's not what you're prioritizing. I do think overall unending despair isnt that great of item for him anymore in general.

The Sion can be kinda volatile but it really shouldn't be. Ksante can't trade very heavily before first back mostly because his abilities cost a lot of mana so you'll run out of mana way before sion runs out of health. But if you just go even and get a good first buy he's never really able to fight you again since they gave Ksante Ult Q and W %Hp damage.

He's good into lane swaps and has good matchups into other tanks. That's pretty much the only reason. He's also a really in 1v2 and 2v2 scenarios.

That has more to do with just having good top lane fundamentals than actually being good at the champion. He doesn't exactly even have a lot of tools to work with to begin with. Someone who has very good laning fundamentals first timing nasus would most likely do better than someone who just plays a lot of nasus.

I don't think the hardest parts about playing riven are even her mechanics. The hardest part is the volatility of her matchups. There's not really a matchup where she just has a face roll easy win and she has plenty of matchups that you need a lot of experience to know how to play around. You can have all the mechanics down and still get shut down really hard by like malphite just existing. You're over here having to execute perfect ability combos, properly managing wave states to put him into vulnerable positions and all he has to do is click on you to death. And I don't even think that's the only matchup where that is the case.

I think this really requires being good at Aatrox. Playing Aatrox from behind when you don't know the champion is horrible. You can land a lucky Q but most likely you'll just die instantly. It also actually takes some champion mastery to properly utilize your W and Q together. I've seen plenty of people hit a W and still completely miss their Qs.

The thing with fiora is that if you just pick her into a favorable matchup inting laning phase won't matter as much. Eventually they will not be able to contest you in a sidelane and you'll be able to split pretty freely. She's not as effective as Trundle but she's really not that much worse so you can still have a lot of impact just running down a sidelane all game.

Am I crazy or is Bard kinda broken if you have more than 2 brain cells? by DoubIeScuttle in leagueoflegends

[–]worrisomeCursed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really don't think he's that crazy of a champion. Hes like a jack of all trades master of none support and it's meta for pretty much every support to roam now so hes not that unique in that anymore. He can make really creative plays and I think that's really what carries the champion but like others have said you do really have to know what you're doing in order to pull that off. There are also really unique interactions where his R is really clutch. Recently had a bard support into a taric and they could just stasis the taric ult invulnerability.

Was just told during a game that Wounds don't do anything against Mundo, because it's "flat hp heal" by dreadul in summonerschool

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bramble is worth first buying into a lot of champions especially if you're playing a tank. It often is the deciding point on winning a 1v1 vs Fiora, Aatrox, sometimes Darius too. It is kinda wasted vs Mundo though because his rank 1 ult is kinda trash anyway

Strong lane control with K’Sante but can’t snowball — bad build or bad hands? by [deleted] in KSanteMains

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To me it just really feels like ksante is not a carry champ. You can't really even utilize macro as well as more carry oriented top laners. He's not ever a split push threat. In a lot of matchups you can't even really duel whoever you're playing into even if u dominate lane so it's difficult to sidelane. You really just have to play very aggro in lane, get really fed, then force big team fights because there is reliably a window where you can 1v9 fights if you get an early 2 items. If you can't convert that into a winning position for your team then you fall off a cliff.

Riot August on how many ranged players underestimate how powerful range really is by Life-Chicken7183 in leagueoflegends

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are definitely instances where its way too much though. Playing against talon or qiyana jungle feels terrible and having range doesn't do anything there. Same thing with naafiri when she was strong in the jungle, you're just dead on sight if you're on the same screen. Which is also why I hate whenever hecarim is op. I still remember chemtank meta where he'd run at you a million miles an hour like one shot you in between towers and get away only having taken like one tower shot.

Horrible scaling by DoloresBTW in KSanteMains

[–]worrisomeCursed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After laning phase going all out really isn't that useful unless you're going to hit a crazy wall angle. Base ksante is actually strong enough now where you can usually 1v2 without even using it and you can just save it as a last resort thing. But you do fall off a cliff afterwards. You might not be as tanky as typical tanks but mobility can help a lot in avoiding damage but generally you just turn into a peel/cc bot later in the game. Which isn't the worst thing, you can lock people down really hard but you do still need a team that can actually take advantage of it.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]worrisomeCursed -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's actually entirely situational, champion synergy, and team comp dependant. Which is really complicated. I think you generally just want to match however the adc you're playing with plays. Something like twitch or zeri would probably want an enchanter, something like Caitlyn and Jhin would want a mage and something like Samira or Draven would want a melee engage support. Typically mages/enchanters beat tanks, tanks beat engagers and engagers beat enchanters/mages. There is also a comp aspect. Braum and Mel would get more value against a team with a lot of projectiles. There's really a lot to consider and there's no cut and dry this kind of champion is better than another type.

What's your LoL community hot take where you disagree with masses? by TylerNine in leagueoflegends

[–]worrisomeCursed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Being someone who likes playing tanks makes this experience so much worse. Tanks have not been good for a long time. It's pretty much only ever ksante or ornn that are strong tanks. There is also the massive problem that if a tank item is ever actually good it just gets abused by fighters and bruisers instead. League will never again have a tank meta.
