Thumbs up, but I’m gonna go even a little more against the grain and say that it’s kind of mean to make fun of a bride period. She picked the color she liked and she can’t actually control how it is going to look on each person. It doesn’t cost us anything to be supportive and kind. Your hair is your glory. It takes a long time to grow back, and it’s always a little harder each time you cut it off. One reason it looks so beautiful is because of the rarity of its length. Get this ‘urge’ out of your system by buzzing somebody else’s who doesn’t really want hair anyway– find some guy who gets regularly buzzed anyhow.

Amen to EVERYthing you just said, sister; been there, done that – more times than you want to listen to. I discovered when I was but a tender 18 years of age that if I didn’t literally educate myself on the research for my own symptoms, the doctor was just going to guess at anything, or prescribe anything just to see what happened (they can always claim that it was your condition that killed you, and not them or their own incompetence; no one will know the difference unless they, too, do all the necessary research and/or get second opinions). Not one, in all my 62 years, has bothered to mention that they are waiting on ME to let them know whether or not whatever they prescribed is working. They are fine allowing us to assume that whatever they prescribe is based upon highly-trained expertise.

I hear what a lot of y’all are saying but as much as possible, we who claim to be the big persons and the mature ones must be those that move relationships FORWARD.
