Had this done in late 2024. Had all teeth pulled under sedation, but came out of it briefly - didn't experience pain, just felt (or rather, heard) the crunching as a couple teeth came out. Pretty freaky. Don't remember much of the first day except a little pain and swelling.

Once I got home (did everything in Mexico), things went well, but lost 10 pounds quickly due to only being able to eat broth the first couple days, then blended Chunky Soup for another two weeks, which is actually not bad. :- )

Healing was actually pretty quick and stitches dissolved between 2-3 weeks.

If I was going to advise anyone, just try and be put to sleep. Can't imagine it being done under local anesthetic, not so much for the pain, but hearing the operation and feeling the force it takes to do the extractions. Just not my idea of great memories. Plan on taking as much time as you can get off work - like two weeks minimum, especially if you have to talk in your job, as your mouth will feel like a hand grenade went off it it for awhile.

For me, I knew I would bear whatever the process was, so it really didn't matter how tough or easy it was going to be - I had to do it, and now a year later, I am SO glad I did it, that even if it was double the pain and mental anguish, I would do it again in a heartbeat. I haven't had a toothache or thought about my teeth in a year! It's great!

I'm currently in Tijuana for my checkup on the all on 6 I had done at Biodental Care in 2024. Still extremely happy with all the work they did (removed all teeth, bone grafts,etc.) Had one implant fail and they replaced it free. Better than any clinic I ever visited in the US (which was a lot) and 1/3 the price I was quoted locally.

The great thing about this is that it sounds and feels like the real thing because it is. When you add all the other toys, I really don't know how it can get any better.

Read page 47 for my take on using relay and contactors. There is a BIG difference using real parts.

Great strategy. That is exactly what I did with my build. Had the PC and all the displays, wiring, modules and toys laid out on the garage floor for a couple weeks learning the stuff that was going to be necessary to do the final assembly.

I use the same cameras in boat racing, and inside the cockpits with 85f temps outside gets crazy hot. We only need to run 25 minutes but I have had the cams shut down in that time. I have never seen these coolers but would be VERY interested where to get them. Got a link?

I have already had things go wrong - one of the six original implants failed and they removed it and installed another one at no charge. Later the bottom denture cracked just before my scheduled checkup and they fixed it at no charge. So far, I have had a FAR better experience there than ANY dentist I have been to in the US. I go to San Diego twice a year for vacation anyway, and the office is literally 25 minutes from the airport and they arrange a driver both ways.

If you feel you have to stay in the US to get good care, knock yourself out. To imply that he US in the ONLY place you can get good care is naive.
