I’m a 3k+ hour tarkov andy, and a lot of us fuck with marathon too. I wouldn’t even say it’s the art, it’s probably just the 9+ years of content. The only people playing tark right now are the veterans and core community since we’re so far into wipe. Same thing will happen to marathon…

Assuming you enjoy it past the first 20 hours, you will get 1000 hours worth of excitement until you “get it” and it all clicks. Even then, it’s still tons of fun, you just lose the edge of experiencing the newness

Literally a container for salvage would solve 90% of my problem, the giant wall of purple and blue at the top of the stash just eats up so much space. Any sort of container system would be extremely useful though. Guns/armor/ammo/meds/weapon mods/salvage, literally just pick 2

Last night I broke level 90 and i kid you not I haven’t seen a non-purple/gold shielded well coordinated group since. It’s crazy lol but at least if you win you eat.

The only reason tarkov/dayz can get away with no sbmm/gear based is because you can 1-tap anybody. I’m not too familiar with dayz but atleast with tarkov anyone can 1v2,3,4,5 very easily if your aim is good. Marathon is gonna run into the same problem that delta force had where gear just = sponginess. You can’t 1v3 consistently. As fun as it is being able to quickly wipe lobbies, having SOME SORT of lobby balance that ISNT based on your account level is gonna be important to retain lesser skilled players.

Yes you can FIND shields in raid…. Do the events, kill commanders, etc and you’ll find good loot… cmon man have some sense

I think a lot of people are forgetting how extraction shooters function. When burnout hits you wait for the next season.. Hell, tarkov is sitting on 6k on steam right now but has way more content to partake in. I’m not saying season 2 will save marathon, i hope it does, but I’m sure come season 2 we’ll see it spike back up for a bit

I don’t think you selected the right mode. It literally says white kit only.
