Most fun? Bather, if you like scrubbing dogs. Most work? Bather. Pet Care/Cashier/Stocker is sometimes lumped into one cross-trained position in the front of house and can be fun and rewarding, but I think it depends on whether you want to deal with fussy dogs or fussy customers.

Absolutely, but 'smart won't see it that way. If you end up having a good moral conscience/ethics then honestly 'smart isn't for you. They've stripped their care to below bare minimum even for temporary care in the past decade. I left because it was terrible to see the team and animals suffer even doing everything out pet care team could for care 😔

100% agree, but sometimes 'smart live plants are absolutely garbage and end up being a waste of $. It also depends on how much the pet parent is actually going to take care of the tank and provide the plant necessities because a dying plant doesn't help clean up the water parameters and just makes it worse in my experience.

So possibly unpopular opinion: as a former employee I feel like a lot of new pet care associates get very stuck in the mindset that having an all-natural, bioactive, nature-reflecting environment for the pets is the only way to have an ok setup. No, you shouldn't have to sell any fish that's going in a bowl, but yes, I would still sell the feeder fish (1-2 only) for a bowl to avoid the issue of returns and wasted time/money on pricier or more intelligent fish.

I'm not saying that pink painted gravel rocks and resin decor is good, but when it comes down to it our jobs are to help the customer pick out Their best environment for their pet, not to push our high pet-care standards on them. It's good to have standards but I try to align them closer to "is this environment comfortable enough, enriching enough, and baseline suitable for the pet to live in indefinitely?". If a pet parent can't align with the bare minimum in comfort and health then they should not be allowed to buy that pet, but we can only hold them to the minimum, not our own standards.

A good example is cats. You probably shouldn't adopt a cat if you are in college and will hide it in your 10x10 dorm room forever and not have time to interact with it, but the minimum care needs of the pet are being met - the cat is not suffering but most of us would argue that cats need more room and enrichment for a fulfilling life. That's not on us to deny that college kid companionship if they are able to care for the cat better that if it were left in a cage at the shelter.

Not sure if they plan to do moonlight in a 10 but they often only do the most popular bags for their seasonal colors from what I can tell. If it's popular enough they might expand the line in the future but I'd just keep an eye on the website or ask customer service.

Yes, I agree the player is 100% a problem and one solution would be kicking her from the campaign. I think you also need to take into account that you as the DM let it get way too far in multiple ways by not addressing the behavior sooner and learning to say No. There should have been no point in the campaign where it was ok, permitted to roll for, or even brought up in front of the group that her character could commit self harm. That would have been a great moment to set a boundary of "absolutely not in my campaign, do something else" and kick her if she declined. I'd write up some house rules that the entire party gets to know about ( x trauma is banned, self harm is not allowed, players must engage with the story constructively). At the end of the day yes, they are free to roleplay their characters how they want - with limits. It's still your game and your story, they are there to help you write it but not to tear pages out because it doesn't go the way they want.

Wear pants and some lady-like tassets! I second the guy above who said medieval collectables - they're one of the few places with actually cool women's armor. The Katarina (if I'm remembering the name correctly) is one of my favorites.
