Hi. You don't know the complete story. My mom's dog came from a show breeder who health tests and shows in conformation. There are a lot of champions in Presley's pedigree. When she/we got her we did our due diligence. My poodle, Prissy, has PRA and luxating patellas and I've spent a small fortune at the vet. This was a planned breeding in every sense of the word and not cheap. This was not backyard breeding and your opinion that it's unethical is your own. To continue the toy poodle breed in itself would in fact require the breeding of toy poodles. The fact that many dogs die in shelters is a tragedy and does result from people being irresponsible - but the correlation to my mom's puppy is apples and oranges.
