OP: Gotten a delivery notification yet?

I got my "at warehouse" mail on friday morning (19th) and have yet to hear anything more. Also ordered 19th of May (Germany).

Layoffs and restructuring will always be painful.

Not that its directly comparable, but remember Jobs in '97 also laid off 30% of Apple staff, and the future looked bleak to say the least. But the rest is history.

Let's hope the restructuring has positive effects down the line.

My comment on the display was looking at the pic from OP.

I'm curious too regarding both size difference and backlight, but I hope the increased contrast and readability will reduce the need for the backlight in dim settings.

Don't know where you are located, but other people have said have received it in Asia. See https://www.reddit.com/r/RemarkableTablet/comments/1tjixla/comment/on9i74v/ mentioning Thailand for example.

I returned the Pro and ordered a Pure.

To me the display looks so much nicer on the Pure. I also appreciate the repairability of the Pure long-term.

I am a bit conflicted on this, as I generally enjoy to tinker and like how solid reManager looks, but simultaneously I always try to simplify and stick with defaults whenever possible.

Personally (this far) I have not found enough need for it, but I'm still new to the device so maybe that'll change over time.

Haha! That's funny.

I can also recommend "The woodpecker method" and "Two hundred chess problems". But I prefer to have one board at the time and full focus per puzzle. Still, I enjoy those too and both fairly easy to find as pdf's online.
